Hopa Rosalli graduated from Asheville School of Massage and Natural Health in 2007.
I moved back to my home state, Vermont, in 2010 but continued to return to Asheville for the high quality classes offered there. I have nearly 150 hours of continuing education which I look forward to expanding every year. I have also been a student of the Allied Health Program through CCV with a focus on Human Biology and Nursing.
I strongly believe that holistic health is the most important aspect of having a high quality of life. Bodywork helps facilitate healing and a body awareness that can be forgotten in the bustle of everyday life. Pain or discomfort can also cause feelings of disassociation between body and mind. I discovered the power of massage after a severe bike accident left me unable to walk for over a month. I noticed immediately that the massage treatments I was receiving were helping my body heal so I began asking questions and working on myself. I learned that living with pain has a huge impact on health and wellbeing and I knew I wanted to help people as I had been helped.
I grew up in the mountains of Vermont before heading off to work on a glacier in Switzerland, then to the jungles of Puerto Rico. I have continued to explore different regions and follow my calling. My interest in fitness, nutrition and biology gives me plenty to study and be inspired by. I am always humbled by how expansive the wellness field is; I am a student for life.
